Wellcome to mandalaartlight.com The aim of this website is to demonstrate and share the Art of Light that artist Rafael Buisán has been creating over the past decade. I propose contemplation as a path for experiencing Beauty. And experiencing Beauty as a means of awakening the love and consciousness of the Unity. This is a spiritual Art for initiated, geared towards visualization as a means of harmonising the mind and spirit of the disciple on the Inner Path, "The Way of Light". These Mandalas have been created to harmonise the Strengths of the Universe that dwell in our inner being, the awakening of which is the goal of so many people on their Way to Realization. Nature demonstrates to us the flowing and continuous occurrence of all things. When you enter into a state of contemplation, the essence of everything is revealed to you; the details disappear. This is how the essence, the charismatic power of the elements of Nature, is displayed in these mandalas, yantras and chakras.

There are two kinds of works available for purchase: The "thangkas", which come in a size of 40x80 cm, are ideal for places such as natural therapy rooms, massage facilities, meditation rooms, personal altars… intimate, secluded spaces. The "pictures", in medium and large sizes from 50x50 cm to 100x160 cm, are mounted on a frame and are ideal for decorating anywhere in your home or work with that special, magical personal touch. They are particularly attractive in Yoga and Meditation centres, natural therapy centres, spas, beauty salons or any other environment where you need to create a harmonious, natural ambience with a special feel. |

Their creation has come about through the artist’s determination to demonstrate the forces of the elements in harmony. The creation of these mandalas, chakras and yantras is aimed at turning them into tools for the visualization and awakening of the subtle energies within our beings. In visualizing them, the practitioner penetrates the centre of the mandala and in a state of deep concentration and relaxation can empty his mind and let it be invaded by that powerful, creative energy of the elemental forces, letting himself be led to the most profound depths of the Unity. |

The works are conceived in the Thangka format like the traditional Tibetan Thangkas so they can be carried rolled up wherever you need them on your travels, just as the monks used to carry them in ancient times from one monastery to another. The works come in a size of 40x80 cm on hand-stitched canvas and mounted on two wooden staves finished off with purple silk cord. The works have been created with the guarantee of high-resolution printing using pigmented dyes on cotton broadcloth. The stability and purity of the colour is guaranteed for more than 100 years. This procedure is known in artistic terminology as giclée. |

All the woks are signed by the artist; the traditional Tibetan thangkas were made by a group of anonymous, highly expert artisan painters. These thangkas of light are the result of the creativity of artist Rafael Buisán who, after 20 years on the Path to Awakening, has managed to synchronize his own personal realisation with his artistic work. In the last 10 years he has put his creativity at the disposal of The Way of Light so that his creations, which have helped him on his own path, could be put to use as a tool, like the mandalas, to help other people with their spiritual development and awakening. |
